Akros is a public health organization that works on improving the delivery of health interventions – like vaccine rollouts and malaria prevention programs – across southern and western Africa. Our team has built a range of client-side applications and websites, from scratch. Also, we designed a scalable and extensible middleware as a wrapper around the legacy system. This solution was built using NodeJS and was designed in a way that allows enrichment of content and functionalities at the middleware level, without the needed for updates on the hard in order to maintain the legacy system.
